Hello teammate and friend. It had been along time since I saw you, but that chance never came. The news hit and another good friend of mine had moved on. You were good people and I always wished you the best as you had me. It is a major loss that you are gone, but not forgotten. It hurts, but you are in a better place. You were the best lineman and friend a person could have. I remember many times you, Chris T., and myself joked and had fun going on those long bus rides for out of town games. We all had pride and it still lives today in the hearts of us Lions. We were the best team in the history of Waco High School Lions. The coaches knew that then and still know it today. What they may not have known is how much we were a team away from the field. We went back to those good old G.L. Wiley Wildcat days. Those were the days, but I look towards bigger and better days now. Life is too short. Thanks for the memories A-Train Haynes. Your Friend, Michael Drake.
